Giant sets consist of doing at least four exercises back to back. You can consider giant sets as a form of circuit training. With that said, the four exercises you’ll be doing in this specific workout include crunches, sit-ups, planks and leg raises, which you’ll do laying down. Sets & Reps
As previously mentioned, you’ll do the leg raises, planks, crunches and sit-ups one after another. Once you have completed the last rep of one of the last exercise you do, then that will be considered one giant set. With giant sets, reps are still the same meaning, so if you do 10 reps of crunches, then you’ve done 10 reps and will do reps of the next exercise.
Now for the actual workout. The order you do the exercises in is completely up to you. However, we recommend starting with whatever you think is the hardest exercise, which will likely be the plank. Hold the plank for as long as you can before doing the next three exercises, which you will do at least 10 reps each of.
If you can’t reach 10 reps or you feel as if you can do more, then go right ahead. Do as many reps as possible. Remember to take a little bit of a rest after the last exercise has been performed, and then repeat until you’ve done a total of 4-5 giant sets.
